ARE YOU INTERESTED IN HIGH ADVENTURE SPORTS, PREPARING FOR A
CAREER, PITCHING A TENT OR TRAVELING TO EXOTIC LOCALES? THERE ARE
MANY WAYS TO JOIN AND EXPERIENCE GIRL SCOUTING, AND IT'S NEVER TOO
LATE TO GET STARTED.
FOR EXAMPLE:
- Earn the Girl Scout Gold Award, one of the nation's top
leadership recognitions, and receive preference for university
acceptance and scholarships.
- Use your leadership skills to help a group of younger girls
plan an event or sharpen your skills at a leadership conference.

 Make
your community a better place. For example, create a program for
educating parents on the dangers of lead poisoning or develop an
anti-bullying program for children.
- Plan a fun overnight or weekend retreat with other Girl
Scout friends.
- Envision an ideal world where society consistently respects
the needs, values, and interests of girls. Use your creativity,
leadership skills, and knowledge as you take action to make your
vision come true in the Girltopia Journey book.

Girls can join Girl Scouts through multiple Pathways, that
include camping, special Interest groups, activities and events,
travel, and more.
