YOU KNOW WHERE YOU'VE BEEN, BUT WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?
INCREASE YOUR CONFIDENCE AND LEADERSHIP ABILITIES AND PREPARE FOR
SUCCESS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL. THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO JOIN AND
EXPERIENCE GIRL SCOUTING, AND IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO GET STARTED.
FOR EXAMPLE:
- Earn the Girl Scout Gold Award, one of the nation's top
youth leadership recognitions, and receive preference for
university acceptance and scholarships.
- Visit the historic sights of England and sharpen your
leadership skills at the Oxford Leadership Youth Program or
complete a challenge training course in Michigan to become a
Wilderness First Responder on a Girl Scout travel destination.
-
Use
your leadership skills to help a group of tween girls plan a
meaningful community service project.
- Raft down rapids or enjoy a tent camping, and horseback
riding weekend with our High Adventure Teens group.
- How often have you seen something that really needed to be
changed and wondered, "Why isn't someone doing something about
that?" Start your own "butterfly effect" in the Your Voice,
Your World, The Power of Advocacy, Journey book.
All Girl Scouts benefit from life-changing Leadership
Experiences that are based on the timeless values of the Girl Scout
Promise and Law.
Girls can join Girl Scouts through multiple Pathways, that
include camping, special Interest groups, activities and events,
travel, and more.
